Description.

These inflatable SUPs are long and narrow, which means they are lightning-quick through the water but also very easy to manoeuvre, control, glide and ride. Being inflatable they pack-down and can be easily transported to races all over the world. Despite its practicality, there's no compromise on performance.

Rail Foot Holds

Raised rails allow the rider to dig their feet into the board. This will give a grounded stance meaning more energy can be channelled into each paddle stroke.

Rail Foot Holds

Raised rails allow the rider to dig their feet into the board. This will give a grounded stance meaning more energy can be channelled into each paddle stroke.

All Elite boards feature unique innovations which can be found on Red Paddle Co boards: The patented Rocker Stiffening System or RSS for short, counters flex with two stiffening battens that are inserted into pockets on the side of the board; Forward Flex Control System (FFC) then stiffens the front section of the board using a carbon compression strut to remove flex that can be created in a race and channels this towards the back of the board increasing overall board speed.

The two combined work together to create the fastest inflatable SUP's currently available on the market. The board also features double nose fins to aid tracking and displacing water from the deck of the board. The glass fibre centre fin supplied as standard gives the right amount of grip without adding drag, whilst the angled design prevents any debris from getting stuck on the fin.

Multiple carry handles are included to provide fast entry and exit of the water and have been designed not to get in the way during racing. The diamond cut, Red embossed deck pad provides ultimate grip in control in all stages of a race.

The 28’’ wide Elite is the perfect entry board to racing or those over 110kgs/240lbs, also if the majority of your racing is done on the open ocean then the stability offered by the 28’’ Elite allows you to focus more on putting the power down than staying balanced.

ATB Transformer Bag

Introducing a total redesign of our all terrain backpack that offers a bagless carry system. This skeleton system means you can access more remote waterways without the need for a bulky bag and just take the straps and your pump. When using the bag, large all terrain wheels make handling rugged terrain a breeze and considered anthropometric design is able to be fully customised to your height so you can take maximum care of your body while under load.

Large exterior pockets can fit any quick to grab essentials and velcro interior pocket means your paddle blade is safe and secure. The interior material has a stylish Red repeater pattern and its water resistance will minimise any intrusive damp. Additional internal storage for small items and keeping your service kit on hand.

Benefits.

  • High-performance: for experienced paddlers wanting more speed.
  • Efficient: streamlined raceboard design offers more glide per stroke.
  • Race-ready: quick yet well-balanced at 28" wide.
  • Competitive: designed for 12'6" race classes – fast, manoeuvrable and stable for both technical and distance racing.
  • Robust: MSL® construction easily withstands the inevitable bumps and scrapes of racing and training.
  • Ultra-rigid: reinforced by RSS battens and FFC system for unmatched stiffness.
  • Sure-footed: high-grip deckpad aids footwork while raised rail bumpers help footsteering. Portable: packs down into All-Terrain Backpack for convenient storage and transportation.

Our manufacturing processes, like turning the offcuts from our EVA deckpads into keyrings, aim for zero waste too, reflecting our commitment to low-impact resource selection.

How to store your board

Before storing, rinse all equipment in fresh water and let it dry completely.

To pack away, lay the deflated board deck-up and place the pump across the nose, leaving enough room to wrap the board over. Roll tightly, then secure with the strap. Use the backpack’s internal strap to secure the board inside.

Store your board in a cool, dry place, out of direct sunlight. If keeping it rolled up, avoid excess pressure on the straps. If space allows, it’s best to store the pump separately.

You can also leave your board inflated, ideally kept on a flat surface...

You can also leave your board inflated, ideally kept on a flat surface or upright – but do reduce the board’s pressure to below 15psi if not in use for a while.

Monocoque: meaning the coating is integral to the structure. MSL® drop-stitch technology integrates a highly durable, reinforced coating to the ultra-high-definition weave to form an inseparable base layer.

Structural: the high-tensile drop-stitch fibres are designed to withstand pressures in excess of 22psi, meaning Red boards can be inflated to provide unrivalled stiffness and confidence, no matter the rider weight or prevailing conditions.

Laminate: the reinforced composite coating is bonded to the textile core using machine welding that applies heat and pressure to the inner PVC layer, saving over 2kg of adhesives and reducing cosmetic and safety concerns. Produced under low tension, this process creates a torsional stiffening effect when the boards are inflated, making MSL® stiffer at lower pressures.

Red Racing 12’-6” Elite great for smoother waters not for me in the tippy ocean.

This is a beautifully designed board but I found it difficult to control turning wise in open ocean, choppy waters . I am an intermediate paddler / expert skier which I thought would help me but no. I could get around but it was a lot of work especially leg power unless it was calm. I had my friend an expert hard board paddler try the board and she felt the same way. I also found on land while carrying it the wind would catch the board at 12’-6” and was hard to hang onto at times. I am only 135 lbs. 5’-4”. I think I’d you live on the water and it is no big deal to get this board in the water and have good conditions this board will be wonderful . On a smooth lake it was heaven. I tried my friends red paddle sport, it was like a tank in comparison.

Cheers Doris
